    Broiled Berries


    3 cups fresh berries: (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries or raspberries)
    1 cup sour cream
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup brown sugar

    Preheat oven to broil; divide berries evenly among 6 small ramekins or custard cups. In a small bowl, mix sour cream and vanilla. Sprinkle each bowl with brown sugar. Place ramekins on a baking sheet and broil for 1 minute, or until sugar carmelizes. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.



    Jo's Buttermilk Pancakes


    2 eggs, beaten
    2 cups buttermilk
    1/4 cup oil
    1 3/4 cup flour
    2 Tablespoon sugar
    2 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    butter for griddle

    Mix wet ingredients in a large bowl. Add dry ingredients and mix until large lumps are gone. Try not to overmix. Melt butter on hot griddle and pour out batter to form 4 inch pancakes.
    Makes 16 pancakes


    Hiestand House Egg Souffle'


    4 slices Canadian Bacon
    6 large eggs
    1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    1/2 cup plain yogurt
    1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
    1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick's Key West Spice Blend, divided

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease 4 large ramekins or custard cups. Place a slice of Canadian Bacon in each ramekin. In medium bowl, beat eggs, mustard and yogurt. Stir in 1/2 cup of cheese and 1 teaspoon of Key West Spice Blend. Spoon egg mixture evenly over ham in ramekins. Sprinkle remaining cheese and
